Hi Seniors

I am meeting the 1095 days requirement mid of next month (15th March). Without even a little delay , I want to apply for myself and 2 of kids to evade the new law (c-24). Nonetheless, my wife will be eligible to apply on 18th April (1 month after us).

To the best of my knowledge, CIC would not consider our application as family application and my wife's application will be dealt separately.

My question is......

Is there a way that I could request CIC to combine our application at a certain point of time? I mean, Could I request them after 6 months or a year to combine these 2 applications and consider as one application as a FAMILY APPLICATION?

Plz. reply and oblige.

Same case is with me i had applied with my kids as i completed my days and my wife will complete her days in April so i advise you go for your application with your kids to safe yourself from new law and apply for your wife separately and let her application process individually this dosent make any diffrence

No - you can't. If you want the application to be processed as a family application then you should wait until your wife qualifies and then submit all of your applications together.
 
I too applied mine with my 2 kids, my wife will qualify only in March 25th, I thought even if you apply with 2 kids with one of the parent will consider as family application, so I'm wrong in this assumption. :'(

What is difference between these 2 categories...i.e. family and individual application categories?
 
my spouse is eligible on march 23 and we are planning to apply on march 31.
