Applying for citizenship-missing tax return for 2019

My partner and I became Canadian PRs in 2019. I was employed in 2019 but my partner was not. We were told (perhaps incorrectly) by our tax preparer that we didn't need to file a tax return in 2019 for my partner since there was no income. They got a job in 2020 and we have both been filing tax returns for 2020 and 2021.

We're planning to apply for citizenship this year. I have 3 years of tax returns filed but my partner only has 2020 and 2021. Can this be corrected by filing their 2019 tax return now? Will this create any complications in the citizenship application?

Thanks for your help!

@freel @Pacoromo did you find any answer?
It's an old post, but since you have 10 years to file a tax return for any given year, it's never too late to do so for all years within the eligibility period.
And all IRCC asks about it whether you filed your taxes, when you do it doesn't matter, shouldn't be a problem to do so soon before the citizenship application.
