Hi, it has been 2 years or so since I got my PR and with the inclusion of 1 year into physical presence calculator from my time as a Worker, I have the required days.

In the online application, I was asked about my aliases, which I put in. I also have a different birth name (we don't have last names, part of my Dads name was added instead), which I put in.

All of this was volunteered for my EE PR application. I submitted dozens of translated documents and notarized statements back then.

The application for Citizen looks more streamlined, it doesn't tell me implicitly that I should submit those documents again.

The question is, should I submit everything again? These are the optional sections. The last one makes me think.

Date of birth correction documents (optional)
If you changed the date of birth in your immigration document submit supporting documents.(opens in new tab)
Add file
Request form for change of sex or gender identifier (optional)
If you want to use a different gender from the one in your immigration document, submit the request form for change of sex or gender identifier.(opens in new tab)
Add file
Other supporting documents (optional) Help
Include any other document or information that you want us to review when we process your application.

If I look at the wording of these first two optional sections, it sounds like they want to know changes after the PR application, changes to the immigration document after being PR, is this correct?

If so, the last one should be as well and CiC likely already has all my up-to-date information (there have been no changes to my DoB, sex, or anything else). Should this be correct?

Hi,

As far as we know, you can't include the days of your work permit towards the Citizenship criteria. Your physical presence days becomes enabled only once you complete the landing formalities/interview at POE and claim the PR status.

Thereafter, You have to reside in Canada being a Permanent Resident for a total of 2 years for renewing your PR status /or a total of 3 years for claiming the Citizenship in Canada. Kindly check the requirements carefully first!

You are wrong. For citizenship, you can claim up to one year of pre-PR time towards the citizenship requirement (1/2 day credit for each day lived in Canada pre-PR).

Yes, the calculator ask for your time before PR and with PR time, it calculated 1097 days for me, which is enough.

In addition to my original questions, should I add my English CELPIP results even though they're valid for only 2y according to CELPIP, which is...ridiculous I think.

I do have my school post secondary diploma as well.
