Well what is the process for visa application? do you need to verify your documents from ministery of foreign affairs? how much cash you intend to carry?

I am new here. I have applied for july intake in UORegina at 2 April 2016.
Biometric on 3 april and file transfer at 4 april
1 week ago i checked my application status and show that file has been transferred to Abu Zabie office and today status change (file has been transformed to islamabad office).
I am confused what this means??
Any one help me

i guess cgpa is killing me ...2.45
pre masters would be fine too

10th-78
12th-60
B.E in ECE 63% ,,,no year gap.
Ielts-7.5 overall.
I am planning for pg diploma course .
Please suggest me what is the right option for me, and do I qualify for the study visa in these qualification , will their be any kind of rejection, please guys help me out,please.i am planning for embedded in consetoga , or wireless in Fleming,. Please tell me about my visa chances ..

Nope..no consultant..but then i had alot of time to really go through this forum and other websites and read about experiences of other people..due to which i was able to gather which documents I shd submit and how I shd prepare them etc etc
I also had two of my frnds who are already r in canada on study visa and they really helped me to atleast get an idea of which documents i shd prepare
So..if u keep analyzing the experiences of other people on forum and learn frm them
And have a network of few people wd experience who sincerely advise u then u wont need a consultant

Ur gpa is definately a trouble maker for u
I know someone who got in lakehead uni and MUN wd 62% in bachelors
Both unis have masters of engineering but
U shd check these unis for ur program bcz i hv not reseached electrical engineering

Wel the process of visa application is a lengthy one and i will be happy to guide u in any particular query. As far as the whole general process is related, just go to the website of CIC and u will b able to read about the whole process and the generic list of documents u wld need to submit.
I did get my documents attested from ministry of foreign affairs (i also had them attested from HEC and notarized). One of frnds also got the visa and he did not get them attested from MoFA. He only got them attested from HEC, uni and thn notarized. So its not really a hard and fast rule. If u have time and its convenient thn get them attested from MoFA. If not then just go to HEC and thn get them notarized.

your profile seems pretty okay to me just add a strong SOP and show enough funds to support your stay also paying your first semester fee is going to increases the chances of your visa approval
