Already applied and obtained the visa (Allhamdullilah)..u can ask anything visa related..best of luck to u

I have a question, the thing that always confuses me is that its written clearly on CIC website that I need 10,000 CAD (plus tuition fees and accommodation) for a 12-month period in my bank account as a valid proof, yet I keep hearing of rejections of people having upto 28 lac statement. What does this mean? Should I even bother if I have like 13k CAD in my account (on top of tuition and accommodation)?

Money in the account is only one side of the coin, they also check the transaction history and the lenght of time money stays in the account. If money is their in the account for less than 4 months the applicant must assure them the source of that money.

thanks for the insight, would it help if I have the constant amount of money in account for, say, past six months and I can assure them about the source of money?

What they want to make sure is that the money is yours, Good transaction history is another plus

Now, do I have to put this money in a Canadian bank?

Not neccessarily

Hello everyone.
I have applied online for canadian student visa, but in my SOP i had made two mistakes. The first one is my overall ielts score is 6.0 which is also the requirement of the college and i got admission on it but in SOP i mistakly wrote 6.5 ielts score. The result card i provide as a proof shows 6.0 overall score.
The second mistake is almost same. As i wrote my expirience is six months while the letter which i provide as a proof states that my expirience is of 12 months.

It was all by mistake. Please tell me will this effect my application?
Is there any possibility i can update my SOP?

Such mistakes can raise many questions?

Hi,
I need guidance. I am Masters degree holder of Accounting and Finance from Pakistan and have applied for DEP professional diploma in Accounting from Herzing college Montreal. I hope I will get approval letter from that college. I want to know whether my student visa will be accepted or not? What do you think?

Another question 'Can I help my husband to apply for open work permit along with my study permit application to CIC and under which category I should apply for my kids? My kids are under 6 years old'

What are the chances of getting visa approved after getting medical call? Also, how long would it take after that (approx.) ? Thanks

chances only God knows, but I have heard that females have better chances than males. Anyway u can file ur husband application along with ur own and u ll also apply for his open work permit at the same time. Ur husband ll b on visitor visa and ur chlid ll b on visitor record
