I have a question, the thing that always confuses me is that its written clearly on CIC website that I need 10,000 CAD (plus tuition fees and accommodation) for a 12-month period in my bank account as a valid proof, yet I keep hearing of rejections of people having upto 28 lac statement. What does this mean? Should I even bother if I have like 13k CAD in my account (on top of tuition and accommodation)?re3dv said:Already applied and obtained the visa (Allhamdullilah)..u can ask anything visa related..best of luck to u
thanks for the insight, would it help if I have the constant amount of money in account for, say, past six months and I can assure them about the source of money?waitistough said:Money in the account is only one side of the coin, they also check the transaction history and the lenght of time money stays in the account. If money is their in the account for less than 4 months the applicant must assure them the source of that money.
Got it, thank you.waitistough said:What they want to make sure is that the money is yours, Good transaction history is another plus

I need guidance. I am Masters degree holder of Accounting and Finance from Pakistan and have applied for DEP professional diploma in Accounting from Herzing college Montreal. I hope I will get approval letter from that college. I want to know whether my student visa will be accepted or not? What do you think?
Another question 'Can I help my husband to apply for open work permit along with my study permit application to CIC and under which category I should apply for my kids? My kids are under 6 years old'
