Applying for Canada Visitor Visa with Expired H1b Stamping/ Valid I797

I have a valid H1b I797 till 2025, but my Visa stamping in passport is expired.
1. When applying for Visitor Visa in the new IRCC portal it asks for non-immigration visa number and doesn't accept i797 number(saying Visa number must be less10 charecters). does any one faced this issue? how to move forward with this situation?
2. For H4 Dependent what should be the US Visa status selected in IRCC portal? it only gives options as (GC holder, Worker, ) but not as dependent, not sure what to choose.

You cannot give i797 number in the Visa block. If you do not have a stamp then you select "No" and continue, this isn't mandatory. Its just one extra question,thats it.

In the same boat, expired H1B stamp, Valid I797 but IRCC portal is not accepting H1B (I797) approval number.
In that case I guess I have to select "NO" here in this Question: "Do you currently hold a valid U.S. nonimmigrant visa ?"
