Hi,
My post-graduate work permit will be expired in Feb 2019. Can I apply for a Bridge Open Work Permit (BOWP) now in September, since the expiry date is in more than 4 months? Is having the expiry date less than 4 months a requirement for BOWP? I completed the CIC questionnaire and mentioned the expiry date but it lets me to submit the application! Does that mean I can submit the application now?
In addition, I have received AOR and my PR application is at the background check stage. Should I reply Yes to the following question in the BOWP application?
"Have you been told by an Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada office that you are approved in principle for permanent residence in Canada?"
Thanks
