Applying for BOWP and TRV at the same time

Hi to All,

I wonder if it is possible of applying for BOWP and a visa at the same time thru online? Or do separate application? I'm planning to spend my Christmas season in my home country and mostly importantly be with wife for a few weeks. My current work permit is valid until March 11th, 2014 while visa is expiring on January 10th, 2014. I'm sure if I leave Canada with my current status I can't re-entry in Canada.

Separate applications.

as long as our visa and work permit is valid you will be allowed entry unless of course you are not employed at the moment then you may face issues with immigration at the port of entry.

2.i have applied pr application through CEC on 17 aug. And got first letter saying that yours application is completed and send to further process is that AOR I am not sure.what is AOR?
3.can I apply open work permit in this condition?
, i have resign my job on aug 20 and I am still job less
Please suggest me with legal information

No, you aren't eligible for a Bridging open work permit.

To be eligible for a bridging WP, the following parameters must be met:

The foreign national is currently in Canada;
They have valid status on a WP that is due to expire within 4 months;
They are the principal applicant on an application for permanent residence under the FSWP, the CEC, the PNP or the FSTP;
They have received a positive eligibility assessment on their PR application under one of the Economic Class programs above; and
They have made application for an open WP.

That means i have to wait till sep 2014 to apply Open work permit is that correct where my work permit expire on dec 2014
