Applying for both FSW2014 and Express Entry?

Hello all, this is my first post on this very informative forum.

I have sent a FSW application which was received by CIC Sydney on December 30th 2014. I wanted to ask if I am eligible to apply under the new Express Entry program while I still have a pending FSW2014 application.
