Applying for Authorization to Return to Canada ARC (Online / Paper based)

Hi

I was denied my refugee claim in 2008 and received my deportation orders. I left Canda within stipulated time. Now, I want to apply for an ARC to visit my grand children in Canada. I have gone through the CIC website (link below)

At first step, I want to apply for ARC only before i apply for any sort of visa (visit visa / supervisa).

1. I don't find any information how can I apply through GC Key or IRCC portal to apply online for ARC only.

2. If I decide to forward a paper based application, I'm not sure that I need to sent it to Ottawa Processing Center

Or to the Canadian Embassy for my country like it's Abu Dhabi visa office for Pakistan.

Any help will be highly appreciated.

People respond here on a purely volunteer basis and none of us are immigration lawyers. It can sometimes take a while for someone who knows the answer to see your post.

If there is urgency in getting an answer, then recommend you hire an immediate lawyer to help.

If not, then while you wait for an answer, suggest you also look through historical posts on the forum relating to ARCs. Quite likely that historical posts may answer a number of your questions.

Sure Scylla. Thanks for the comments. I understand it's purely volunteer and I appreciate efforts of all people contributing on the forum. Anyways, I'm already growing through old posts on this topic but still can fill my knowledge gaps. Thanks again.
