Hello everyone!

My wife is Canadian. She and I met in London, UK and married here. We've been married for 12 years and have a 6 year old son (born in the UK). We've lived in the UK for the past 12 years more or less. We want to move back to Canada (probably Calgary or Vancouver) to live and work by 2014. I believe we need to apply for the Spouse visa, which means my wife sponsors me. We need to do this from outside Canada (we still live in London, UK).
There are a lot of forms and I am not sure which ones are relevent and should be completed by my wife (the sponsor) and myself (the visa applicant). To further complicate matters, I successfully applied for a permanent resident's visa 2 years after we married in 2002. I landed in Calgary in October 2002, but moved back to the UK 6 months later with my wife. I never returned to Cananda to complete my minimum term of residence, meaning my PR visa expired in 2007. I had to return my PR card to the immigration office in Ontario, but I kept photocopies. I also have my Canadian Social Security card still! Finally, my son has his own Canadian passport already.
So! What do I need to do to get started?

Thanks.

Look at the CIC website. The forms you will need are here:

Also check out the first thread (the sticky one) on this forum by Leon. He explains what to do.
You will have to mention your previous visa, and explain why you lost residency, but it should not hurt your chances now.
