Hello all,

I have a question about EE application with Quebec history.
I am currently living in Montreal and will leave Montreal at the end of this year. I have two options on my hand: moving to BC or moving to my home country for a job opportunity. I prefer to move back to my own country and apply for EE from there. I know EE points are not related to the location, but if there is a risk that CIC will question on my application that if I will back to Quebec? If anyone here had a similar experience with me, please help! Thank you!

What are you doing in Quebec? Studying or working?

It shouldn't matter if you were living in Quebec previously.

What's waiting for you in BC? A job opportunity?

You have to see what option provides you with the most points, don't forget that the cut-off score is rising a lot recently so if you want to immigrate, you have to figure out how you will be most competitive in the pool.

Hi Islander, I worked in Quebec for more than 1 year and I have got enough points. Yes, there is a job opportunity in BC and I am considering about that . Thank you for your remind!

Okay, it looks like you have a lot of options and so you can also apply through CEC.

You're in a good position, I guess the rest is up to you.
