Hi all,

I'm very interested to migrate to Canada(Toronto) as skilled worker my wife and daughter(2 years old) will accompany me, i have prepared all the necessary documents but i have some
questions concerning the application forms, i'll be very happy if some one can help me out.

My questions are:

1- I'm married with my wife since 2008 in the church(not in the cityhall, so we are officially not married according the government) and we a have a daughter 2-years old, My wife and daughter lives for the time being in Luxembourg. What would i fill in "what is your current marital status"? This field is for example in the form: GENERIC APPLICATION FROM FOR CANADA(IMM0008ENU_2D.pdf).

2- If the answer to my first question is: Single, then what would i fill in the question: Relationship to principal application?

3- In the form "Additional Dependants(IMM0008DEPENU)" there is a "Dependant type" with the options:
type A dependant
type B dependant
type C dependant
What does it mean, en which one suites my situation?

4- What is the form "STATUTORY DECLARATION OF COMMON-LAW UNION" for? do i have to fill it?

5- I have checked the FEE PAYMENT FROM, does that means that we have to pay 1650,- CAN dollar as total amount (550 for every person of us, me, may wife and our 2-years old daughter)?

I truly appreciate your time and effort to help me out.

All the best

Mr.Engineer,
Thank you very very much for your time and for responding to my questions. You really helped me out a lot.

There is one more question if i may ask, i was reading some information today in the website of Citizenship and Immigration Canada(CIC) about how to apply as skilled workers and professionals, and i saw the next note:
Note: As of July 1, 2012, CIC has temporarily stopped accepting applications for the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP). This temporary pause does not apply to those
with a qualifying job offer or applying under the PhD stream. We will start accepting applications again on May 4, 2013 when changes to FSWP selection criteria take effect.

Does that mean that i can't apply my application now? do i have to wait till May and then apply?

Kind regards

Can anybody tell me that we applying for PR then PCC is required for only the principal applicant or all dependent members of the family as well??

I mean if we are a family of 2, me and my wife, and I am the principal applicant, then PCC will be required for only me or I have to get PCC for my wife as well??
