Applying 1st part in Mississagua, 2nd part in Mexico city,anyone have experience

Hello everyone

I wanted to start a thread for people that are going through the exact offices that i am having to deal with. I feel like i will have a better timeline for when things are going to happen if the experiences are at the same office.
So here is my story,

I am Canadian my husband is Mexican
We applies Oct 21st 2010
I received a letter dated Nov 19th 2010 stating that i am approved to sponsor my husband it also stated that they were then sending our file to Mexico city for the 2nd phase
We did medicals in Sept
We did state police certificates and sent them with the application
We also paid the whole fee a once

I sent Mexico city an email a couple of weeks ago asking to confirm that they have our file because we can not access it on ecas. They responded this week saying they have not received our file from Mississagua yet, it has been 2 months

I have put a call into my MP and they are looking into it for me.

If anyone has applied via MSS and then MC please ell me your experiences.

You are too anxious , the processing time for Mexico City for 80% of spousal applications is 15 months, it probably hasn't been opened nor indexed yet. Since applications are sent by diplomatic courier, it didn't get lost.

OMG I CAN BELIVE IT TAKE THAT LONG APPLYING OUTLAND im Mexican and my housband is Canadian we are just about to start the process but im thinking that could be better to apply for a visitor visa first

They won't tell you they received your file until they actually open it. The best you can do now is wait until they do.
