Apply without the police certificate from home country

Hi,

I want to apply without the police certificate from home country. Mince is gonno be ready in 2 months but I was wondering if I should apply and have a explanation letter for the officer and tell him that I have applied and it is gonno be ready in 2 months? anyone has done this?>

our experience is that, generally, people who do not follow instructions are refused.

But perhaps it is just the way you have worded things, or the lack of details.

Can you explain why you "want to apply without the police certificate..."? Can you explain what stage of the process you are at? Have you received an ITA, and if so, when is the deadline to apply? What country PCC(s) do you need to submit?

I got the ITA 2 weeks ago and since the police certificate takes 2 months to be completed, I want to apply now without it and just include an explanation letter which says that I have applied for the police certificate and it will be ready in 2 months. I just want CIC to process my application while I am waiting on my police certificate

Well, IRCC wants you to submit a complete application. If you can obtain the PCC before the deadline to submit, then you wait for the PCC. The time allowed to submit was extended from 2 months to 3 months specifically to enable people to get their PCCs.

IRCC will usually allow you to submit with an explanation only if it is literally impossible to obtain the PCC before the deadline.

Furthermore applying now without all documents is not going to speed up your application anyway. CIC will not start processing your application if at least one document is missing. Don't risk to have your application rejected as incomplete for no reason.
