apply TRV within Canada and get stamping in India

Thank you for your response. Yes, I have a job here and can get a letter to it. Either I can ask them for approval to get it to stamp in Mumbai or else have to courier in Ottawa & they will send me back in Mumbai so that I can return. Right?
So do I have to contact IRCC or CPC or the VFS global visa office in Mumbai for the approval for 2 way courier system to get stamped? And pls assist me to whom I contact! Thankyou

You can definitely get your passport stamped in India, I was in a similar situation and I contacted the Indian Immigration office through DELHIIMMIGRATION@international.gc.ca. their response was "Thank you for your email. Please note that passport can be submitted to any nearest VAC/VFS office worldwide along with copy of passport request letter. Applicant can refer to weblink: www.cic.gc.ca/submit to check for the nearest VAC/VFS office." so as long as your visa is approved and you receive your PPR, you can submit for stamping in any vfs location in India. Hope this helps

4th December files review started. Hope for next week. I submitted on 15th December. Let me know if u get anything soon

The processing time has come down to 42 days now, however, wait for week or send an email to IRCC if its passed 42 days. It's better if you get stamped here & then go.

Yes you can go to Mumbai but you may get stuck in India for many months waiting for your TRV and then waiting to get approval for the 2 way courier system to get stamped. You will also need to prove that you are currently employed to return to Canada.

So i if get stamping here And have a job here with the employment letter, then if I go then won't be a problem right?? Is there anything they ask when i return regarding the job??

hello, I am in a familiar situation as well, I applied for my TRV within canada on dec 2nd. the processing time shows it's going to take 53 days to approve it. But due to an emergency, I can't wait until then and have to travel to india asap. So I am wondering if I can apply for stamping in Indian VFS offices after my TRV gets approved here and whom should I inform regarding this. aslo has anyone successfully got their passport stamped going through the same process? Hi, I will be travelling to India coz of essential work, I heard we can get stamping done from vfs office as I already have my TRV letter with me. Just wanted to confirm do we need biometrics to get stamping done in India even if we have TRV letter in hand.
