Hi, my husband is working in canada and I have a tourist visa which is unused. We had our baby recently. We would like to join him in the future.
How to apply tourist visa only for the baby?
Can anyone help me out? Do I need to create a separate IRCC account for the baby and submit it?

Hello,

I have a very similar case. I am working in Canada for 3 months. My wife and elder son (they are in my original country) have a visa to enter Canada. But, our new baby was born recently in my original country. At present, we must apply for the visa of the new baby. Should I use my own account or do I need to create a new account for the baby?

Thanks in advance.

Did u get a chance to apply? Let me know how you have processed

No, you don’t need to create a new IRCC account. You can use the old one!

Thanks, also there was a question,

are you giving someone access to your application?
- As a parent we are applying on behalf of baby, so do we need to select yes or no?
1. Yes, i will be appointing a representative to apply
Or
2.Yes, grant authorization for ircc to release your application information to another person
Or
3. both
Or
4. no

Yes to both of them.

Yes to both of them.
Sorry do you mean by option 3
Appointing representative to apply and also grant authorization to ircc?

As a parent i am applying on behalf of my baby. I am not appointing anyone.
Just wanted a clear idea on this.
Your detailed information on this will be very useful. Thanks

Yes, Option 3. You will be representing on behalf of your child.
