I have some questions about apply study permit inside Canada while holding a valid work permit. My work permit will expire in the end of Oct 2016.
After I use the determine eligibility tool in cic website, I got a result to fill the form Application to Change Conditions, Extend my Stay or Remain in Canada as a Student (IMM5709).
I hope this is correct.
While I am fill out the questions. I am stuck at question 3.
Check the appropriate box or boxes to indicate if you are applying for:
I am confuse about those options. Which one is suitable for my current salutation.
An initial or an extension of a study permit - I have study permit and I am an international student 3 years ago and I have a study permit.
An initial or an extension of a temporary resident permit - I don't think this one fit to me.
Restoration of your status as a student. - This one looks right, but somehow in my memory, this option is only used when your permit expires and you try to renew it.
Does anyone have this experience, please give me some advises.
