Apply permanent residence from country other than home country.

Hi all,

I'm a citizen of India and currently working in the UK on skilled work permit.

My question is can I make an application for Canadian permanent residence from the UK or do I need to go back to my home country for the application.

I know I can surely complete express entry profile from anywhere in the world as it is an online procedure but once I have ITA, can I stay in the UK(while I'm on a valid work visa here) and apply for main application from here?

My second question is: I'm aware that application process can take up to 6 months, so can I travel to other countries while my application is in process?

Yes you can. I applied from outside of my country of origin.
