Hello guys,
My CANADIAN husband and I recently got married... So we decided to apply OUTLAND for my PR while staying here in CANADA. I READ it is possible to do so... Here is my question, by Feb/March I will need to go to my homeland country for 2 o 3 weeks... I am diabetic so right now I have no access to the Ontario Provincial Health System since I am here in Canada on a VISITOR VISA, Due to get medical supplies and for visiting family we are planning a short visit to Argentina, we are going TOGETHER, and return immediately to Canada. Do you think we may have any trouble or difficulty when re entering Canada? I have a multiple 10 year valid VISITOR VISA. Can this short visit affect my OUTLAND application? Thanks for your answers

You can certainly apply for PR using the outland process while in Canada and you can certainly leave Canada. Whether you are allowed into Canada and for how long is up to the CBSA officer you encounter at the border - chances are you'll be fine (but none of us can say for certain). If for any reason you are not allowed back into Canada, your outland application will continue to be processed.

On a visitor visa- you should be visiting Canada. Once the Border Officer is convinced that you are not Irving in Canada, he may allow you to visit your spouse.
