Apply Open work permit visa due to delay EE

I been living Canada 8years now. I applied EE it about 10 months now and still waiting. My concern is that my LMIA visa will expire on next month.
I want asking you guys i can apply open work permit visa? Someone told me that i can apply it. The point is my ower will close store soon so i can not get job letter or something i can not provide letter now.

If you've already put in a PR application, you can probably apply for a bridge extension of your existing work permit

bridge extension need to job letter or job offer something like that from owner ? if correct I can not provide any more. too sad
