Apply India or USA how it works ?

Hello : I see many threads regarding applied work permit from US or India or any other country.

I am an Indian Citizen working in US and recently applied WP.. Now where and how it is mentioned in the application where i am applying from and how it matters ? Because in my case everything done by employers attorney and in the applications forms signed my US address was mentioned.

I am aware ASC or VAC offices are open in US for Biometrics but closed in India due to COVID.. except this how it matters and where it impacts ?

Hello. I am an Indian citizen transferring from US office to Canada office for my company. Based on attorneys who applied for my work permit application, the processing time is based on where you applied from instead of your nationality. But who knows...my application was submitted in May 5, 2020 and I am still waiting on the passport submission request to come. Good luck!
