we are in the same boat like you, I applied for my son visit visa on 13th July through the online application system and still waiting. I think so the election in Canada which will be held on Monday, 19th October is a matter of concern for the especially Pakistani applicant. You could be right about the election on 19th Oct. But if you ask me, i would say that the approval has more to do with the intended date of visit to Canada. As one of my friends got his parents super visa in 60 days. 1 day before their date of travel. Which ever is true, in my case both are just 1 week away from now.smupk2013 said:

if you talk about intended date of traveling then i would say that they dont consider it too since one of the members (sha457), whose date is already gone. I would just say that For some particular reason, CIC Isloo is unimaginably slow, pathetic and painful. I am reallllyyy verrryyyy pissed at thei unprofessionalism.
I have been living here for more then 2 years now and to be honest our people have done so pathetic things and they continue to do so. There are so many examples, like a guy immigrated her sister as his wife, bingo :'( and he didn't stop, tried to do the same with his another sister and got caught.angel123456 said:

My wifes status just updated today after almost 3 months ( two months and 24 days). It now says "Your processed passport has been dispatched from the Canada Visa Office ISLAMABAD, on 19/10/2015 to the Canada Visa Application Centre. To know more, please call VAC helpline number or visit VAC website"
There is no way of telling whether she got it or it was rejected. They dont let you open the envelope at the VAC, you have to open it outside the office. InshAllah we will know tomorrow whether she visa was approved or denied.

Does anyone know if you want to report someone to High Commission in Islamabad, that they don't get visitor visa. Especially if visitor has history of domestic violence and women abuse background, what is the procedure and does CHC Islamabad keep it confidential? I don't want my ID disclosed.
