You can apply from Canada - but the chances of refusal are higher. You should apply from your home country.

As part of the application process you will need to demonstrate that you have tied to your home country and are a genuine tourist. It is easier to show this if you apply from your home country than from Canada.

So I suposse that if I'd apply for immigrant visa(green card) from Canada as a visitor it wouldn't matter because I'm attending to stay there right?

Applying for a green card is different than apply for a US non-immigrant visa.

I don't believe you can apply for a green card from Canada. I believe you need to apply through your home country. How will you be applying for a US green card? Through which application stream?

Hi, I have done the same thing last December 2014 when I was in Vancouver, Canada as a Tourist then I applied for US tourist visa in Vancouver US Embassy...well, I prepared all the needed documents (mostly documents that I submitted when I applied for the Canada tourist visa). The questions were mostly: what is the purpose of visit in US, when and how long I am going to stay, what was my current employment and how long I am in the company, why did I not apply for the tourist visa in my home country.. :)
