Hi everyone, I am on a PGWP and it expires on 2 of May 2017. I already applied for CEC on 25 of March. Now I got accepted in University here in Toronto to finish my study on Sep. I have 2 options now and I would like your advise in which one to go for.

Option 1: Apply for Bridging work permit and stay with the company I work for under implied status until I get my PR under CEC

Option 2: Apply for a study permit and I also can keep working under implied status. I like this option but I am not really sure about cic accepting my application as a student since I got refused once for FSW last year and I am also applying for a PR. They might say that they are not satisfied that I will leave Canada after my study.

I want your advice, thank you in advance.

This is the better option, if you get it, it will be valid for one year. It is also an open work permit.

If you apply to change from worker to student, "implied status" does not apply, you only get implied status if you are applying for the same kind of permit.

If you do not have PR status by the time your program starts, you will need a study permit anyway. But I would recommend applying for the the BOWP first.
