I received my Post Graduate Work Permit back in June 2013. Since my old passport's validity is until the end of this year, my work permit was given the same duration. I'm planning to apply for an extension soon, I'm wondering if I can apply for both PGWP and TRV at the same time?
Question 3 of form IMM5710 states --
I am applying for one or more of the following:
1) A work permit with the same employer
2) An initial work permit or a work permit with a new employer
3) Restoration of your status as a worker
4) Temporary Resident Permit
Can't I choose options 1 and 4 and get both processed at the same time?
PS: Even with the extension, my permit will be valid only until June 2016!
I applied for BC PNP in November 2014, received my file number in December 2014 but no other updates on the progress of my application.
What are my options if I don't get my PNP certificate before my PGWP expires?
