My ICT work permit (specialized knowledge category) is getting expired in a year(maximum of 5 years done)and I want to maintain my status and continue to work with the same employer, please let me know what options do I have ?

Specialized knowledge have 5 years so you would have to change jobs/NOCs with new LMIA and closed work permit. It would not be a LMIA exemption if changing NOCs. Ask a lawyer or HR.
Why aren’t you asking your employer ?
For that type of permit it would have had to have gone thru their HR/lawyer
More than likely you’ll have to leave for be year , cooling off period , then reapply for the ICT
You’ve come to give your specialized knowledge to the company. It’s not meant to be permanent

I had already connected with my company immigration team, but they had not given me any option, other than going back to India for a year cooling period. The main concern is, are there options available to convert the ICT WP to any other WP without going back to India for a year, then I can present the case to my HR
Need LMIA. Company has to post the job and prove no Canadian has the education, work experience and language skills to do the job. Then apply for a high wage LMIA. Given you are doing the job and company was approved for ICT WP through LMIA exemption, will be hard to be approved. For the company it is easier for you to return in a year.
