Apply for GCMS request ?

Hello,

It's been almost five months since I submitted my application, still there is no update.
I applied it through a lawyer, is it good idea to submit GCMS request ?
Will this request harm my application in any way ?

AOR: Nov 10th
Med Test: Passed

Not at all. It is your legal right go ahead. You can apply by yourself if you're in Canada. Ot doesn't have to involve your lawyer. Was in the same situation and my lawyer asked for A LOT of money to order it. So I called IRCC to ask if I can order by myself or should my lawyer do it. The agent said either is acceptable.

I ordered mine 30 mins ago and it took only 10 mins for me. Had to take a printout and sign on it and scan it and mail it to the relevant given mail address. My AOR is 20th NOV.
