Apply for EE, while waiting for Work Permit extension

Hello seniors!

Can I apply for EE while waiting for CIC to resolve my work permit extension that I applied month ago and still didn't get any answer, but its status is open?

Yes you can, unless your points don't change with respect to your work-permit expiry.

Of course you can....I applied for restoration of status as a worker in July and there is no decision made so far....and I applied for PR in Oct and my PR just got approved but I'm still waiting for restoration of status....Ridiculous...but this is ....
