Hey everyone..

and im with her in canada as a visitor.

Can i apply for a work permit base on her visa (and maybe even open work permit base on her occupation) ??

Thanks

It's says skill level - B.

I went to cic site to "Determine your eligibility" and it's says that i can submit for an OPEN WORK PERMIT and i can do it online.

Do you think i need a representation for this kind of process?

Thanks !

I don't think you need representation (you mean a consultant?). Read the instruction guide very carefully, and make sure you provide all the required information/documentation.

It's pretty straight-forward.

Good luck ! :)

Thanks a lot ;)

I look on the cic site page about the processing time,
and it shows some different cases but nothing its my..
Im gonna submit online for a work permit from inside Canada (im a visitor and my spouse holding a work permit).
any idea what is the processing time for me? :)

The site options:

Visitor Extension
Study Permit Extension
Work Permit Extension (new employer)
Work Permit Extension (same employer)
New temporary resident visa (For valid Study or Work Permit holders ONLY)

Or maybe in this kind of case I can even go to the border like i'm going out and back the Canada side and apply there??

I read online about this option and it seems like faster process.

Can i do that ??

If you are eligible for a WP at POE (visa exempt passport, etc).

I do holding a visa exempt passport, and anyway im already in canada on a visitor status.

Is there any criterion in addition? Or is it only this and I just need to go to the closest border and submit the

application there?

Hi everyone! Just wanted to ask if it's possible for me and my son to follow my husband in Canada who has a 2 year work permit as a pork production technician in a farm? What is the process and when is the soonest possible time we can follow? Also, is it possible for me to work there as well? Thank you!

Hi, I'm sorry but I couldn't find the way to create a new post on the Topic "Foreign Workers", I'm almost sure that i am not posting as the right way..but, here it goes:

My boyfriend got a CAQ for an enterprise in Quebec, and I have a doubts:

1. I go with him, we must send the documents proving the relationship now with the formmulary filled, or we ask for my visa after when he receives the answer about the CAQ from the Immigration?

ps: to find the formulary just look for A-0506-CE (2015-07)

At least the subjects are similar, please, if someone can help. Thanks for attention.
