Apply For a visitor visa Inside Canada

Hi All

I am new in forum. I came to Canada at the end of last year just before 2 days of expiry of my visit visa. I have 5 year U.S. multiple entry visa and have a plan to go to USA for a short visit soon. I want to come back Canada for more explore but the problem is my visit visa already expired. I heard that I can apply visitor visa inside Canada. But I dont know how to apply or which link i should follow. Any help in this regard will be highly appreciated.

No. I have valid stay permission. Here I am talking about my passport visa stamp.

Many thanks. Lets see if it is works for me. Just to remind you again, I need a visa in order to re enter Canada. I do not need extension as I already have stay permission till End September.

I got my mom here on approved 5 years TRV but she can only stay 6 months at a time except we extend her stay to more than 6 months and she would be 6 month in Canada by May 26. Now we would like to extend her stay for more than 6 months. Anybody done this before should please advise us on how to go about this. Also we got 2 babies and my wife is studying in a school while mom help to take care of babies at home when she’s away, Can we draft a letter stating mom is helping out with babies while my wife is away to school? If not what else can we say as reason for extending her stay in Canada?

Hi Dave

You can easily extend her stay for another 6 months. Pls see the link below and go through it. Remember to show enough fund for her stay for another 6 months. Also you can make another file as an additional documents by showing how she helped you by taking care of your babies.

we r in canda for 2 years.my daoughter get new passport 2 years before expiration and have visitor record for the next one and half years.she is in grade 5.the visitor visa expired lately how can i request for visitor visa from inside of canada.
i select visitor and it reach to study permit request or visitor record .i never go to the direction to l can get visitor visa
