Apply as Husband and Wife or just me?

I am 43 and my wife is 51 and we are about to apply for Express Entry Visa.

What is the best option for applying?

If I apply on my own and get permanent visa and then start working in Canada can my wife then come on holiday and then I can sponsor her in

Or do we apply together - will her age affect the application.

I am in IT and she is a Nurse.

If you plan to be the primary applicant her age won't affect your score. Her education and work experience might get you some extra points. Why don't you calculate your score on crs calculator with and without her and you'll get a better idea.
