Applied Visitor Visa to Canada

From common processing times in this forum. A 100% tolerance is usually recommended.

I get that and I don't mean to sound intolerant or rude or whatever. Its just that people plan, people book, so to say anything from 18-days to 50-days is a little messed up in my opinion. Since people cant just adjust their plans or ask work to put in vacation between the period of 18 to 50-days or however long the IRCC takes to issue visas.

In my humble opinion rather do away with the Estimate Processing Visa Time tool then and either replace it with something concrete or nothing at all.

Sorry dont mean to rave and complain on here it just takes travel frustration to a whole new level.

But guess if I should be mad at anyone it must be our government since we could travel freely to Canada pre-2013 until they decided to impose visas on Canadians who in return imposed visas on us.

Anyway just a weird system, thanks for help and response.

So yo had to wait almost a month for an acknowledgment of payment....good God im not sure if it is incompetence or just the system which is overloaded (feel for you man, but at least you got it)

They have all my documents including my new passport and old passport. I'm curious because I see persons saying that they got "passport requests" to submit their passports for visa printing. What will happen if for instance my visa is approved? Will they jus print it in my passport being as they already have it? You or anyone else with this factual information will be highly appreciated

If you have already submitted the passport n if your application get approves then cic will paste the visa sticker n wil send the passport back to you.
