Applied Study Permit November 11 no update till now

Hi Folks,

I applied study permit last November 11, 2019 inside Canada for January 2020 intake in Sheridan College but until now I did not receive any update regarding my application. Should I call IRCC regarding my application? I did not receive any biometric letter as well. I'm so worried about now.

Hi , I had applied from India on December 12 th, gave my biometrics on 16 th Dec , today I see that my eligibility has gone under review after 2 months , Biometrics section shows Completed, hoping for the best , I had applied in sds online.

I got it the very next day , stating biometrics collection letter , in which they mentioned the process and slot booking details .

Receiving biometric letter will not guarantee ur visa however it does confirms that decision has already been taken, In ur case there is a chance that ur file might be stagnant so I suggest you to send an email to ircc requesting to send the feedback pertaining to ur application. Further, if no response you can directly contact them to make sure that ur file is centralized.
