I have applied visitor VISA online on 19 the Jan 2019. I applied as family for self and my wife. I received bio metrics letter first, then passport request letter. Afterwards, my VISA was sanctioned and I received the same. But VISA of my wife is getting delayed at each stage. She received bio metrics letter on 28 the jan 2019 and submitted the same on the same day. But till date - 9 the feb 2019, she has not received passport request letter. I do not understand as to why when both applied as family, VISA of me has been processed fast and sanctioned whereas my wife VISA is being delayed. Wanted to visit our son at Nashville TN, and from there we want to visit Niagara. I thought that a period of 2 months would be sufficient and booked tickets for 13 March from Mumbai to Atlanta. I want to know, whether my wife can submit passport at USA though we applied from India, in case, no passport request letter is received at least by fifth of March 2019.
