Your parents must submit their passports at the VFS/CVAC nearest to where they live.

You'll find more information here: http://www.vfsglobal.ca/canada/india/how_to_apply.html#temporary_documents

Hey Guys

I recently filled an Online TRV application for whole family. Through submission i realised nowhere online they ask for uploading supporting documents such as financial Documents or even an Itinerary. Im worried due to this missing visa officer won't just deny the application as there r 5 of us lot of money involved.

Please share your online visa experience. how did you guys attach the financial statements as it did not ask me for it.

I only saw following upload options

Passport copies
travel history
family information
use of representative form
uploading imf form
marriage certificate

optional
uploading letter of explanation
optional Section of IMF form

For other applicants even family history and marriage certificate option too disappeared.

Am I missing something???
please advice. I applied on 1st September. Online wait shows 33 days.

Yes. You have not submitted a whole bunch of supporting documents to prove your financial status and strong ties to your home country.

Based on the list of documents you have posted, IMO, the chances for refusal are possible for you and your group.

You must prove your strong ties such as employment or business + property or land ownership + financial situation + previous travel history (especially if you have a valid US visa or visited the US/UK/Schengen countries) + provisional flight itinerary + day-to-day itinerary, etc. You should have prepared one combined PDF or evidence if you were not able to upload additional documents.

You can send a Case Specific Enquiry (separate ones for each applicant), requesting the visa office to allow you to withdraw your application(s). Also send similar emails to the visa office responsible for your area/region. If processing has not started, you may be given refunds too

after looking online i got to know since we qualify for CAN+ programme document requested are fewer. as financial records itinerary none of it is required for people qualifying under this program. As parents already had two canadian visa and wife (though rejected for a canadian visa back in 2013) has a valid 10yr usa visa.

But i still sent our financial documents and itinerary through case specific enquiry. But i can't send all property documents through 2mb limit. Im not even sure whether they will get these documents in time.

i just hope visa is approved specially for my wife so they can come visit me anytime as its hard for me otherwise as i keep traveling home and waste time money and problem with maintaining more residency days inside canada.

do you still suggest withdrawing the application...? CAN+ programme requires less documents and has approval rate of 95% but processing suppose to take 5 business days which expired yesterday yet no communication from the embassy... i only got file updated emails thrice since i applied on 1st september but nothing visible on MyCIC not sure why i chose online application... process is quite mysterious

You did not mention that you had applied under the CAN+ program in your earlier posts. Your posts gave the incorrect impression that you had applied for regular TRVs (but without several supporting documents).

1. Did your TRV applications specifically state that you are applying under CAN+?
2. Did you scan the US entry/exit stamps for your parents and your wife.... as part of the TRV applications?
3. Have you filed for your wife's PR?

One can only request for processing under CAN+. The decision of whether or not to process under CAN+ is with the visa office. There are no guarantees that someone who has visited the US/Canada earlier will get TRVs.

Also, we have seen that processing time can take much longer than 5 days for CAN+

Hey
1. Family first filed the come to canada link. that automatically analyses your application whether its Can+ or regular TRV application. Once code is generated by come to canada tool. you put that code into the MyCIC apply for visa link and it automatically asks for few documents like in my families case. there's no separate option from user end to enter it. its done automatically through series of questions u enter via the online tool
2. Yes we added the previous Canadian visa and stamps for my mother. Dads old passport was eaten by rats mostly so could only send dads last US visa and also attached my wifes latest 10yr valid us visa and stamp.
3. I have not filed wifes PR as she doesn't want to move to Canada. She's taking care of my parents as well as managing our business in india. Plus with the 1yr old daughter she has lot of domestic help plus family help so she's quite comfortable. we have been married for 3yrs i could have done her pr application after her first refusal back in 2013 but she obviously doesn't wanna move to canada not in the near future atleast.

I sent the financial records plus the itinerary anyway through CSE option but not sure if visa officer will get it in time. importantly if they scanned us for Can+ programme on their own i think they shouldn't reject an application if option to load such documents is not there in the account.
