Ya I have tried two times... They will not reply. In the automated mail its written that "We will not reply if you are asking status about your application".

I am afraid, it is not the case.All TRV cases are decided at Consulate offices. As Student permit also requires TRV,it falls under the purview of Consulate General Office of the region, be it Chandigarh, New Delhi,Chennai,Mumbai etc.
