Is anyone else experiencing something similar?

This is outrageous. If they could at least approve BOWPs, so people can find a job again!!

Have u been requested for medicals or u did upfront? Dont take the words of CIC agents seriously, they say that to everyone to avoid people calling again.
 
I called call center 2 days ago, twice with 2 different agents. Both gave me the same answer: "according to our estimation your application will be review on June 14th 2016. I asked them where did they get that specific timeline from. They both said that this was paste on their computer's estimation.

If you permit is expiring by June, contact you local MP.
 
I talked to an agent as well today. Her name was Elizabeth. Completeley useless. Not willing to help at all. Do you remember your agent's name ?
 
I applied july 14. My application was received 18 months on Monday. I done medicals April 15. I got through to an agent on Monday and he said it will be finalised before April. .. but they say that every time I ring.

Thank you for the helpful advise.Would the MP make any different? I did contact him on January. He just simply said that he forwarded my email to his colleague at the parliament. Here is what he sai:

We are of course working on the backlog problem. We’ve only been in office very briefly, however, and it will unfortunately take more time to make the changes in this (and other areas) that are needed to start turning things around.

I understand your frustration, and that ‘more time,’ is not something you want to hear. I am copying this to my parliamentary email address so that office staff has visibility of it, and I ask them to see what can be done to move things along.

One word to these people

Mp= Useless ,,,,making money that's it .They don't give a sh**t .

Call center Agent = Useless . Making money to survive and trained enough the make us fool.

Governemnt= Slefish. Why would they care about us. There are lot of homeless people. Sleeping on Toronto Streets. I hope they aware of those people . They Care ? no. Why would they care about us.

Take a deep breath ,,,and swear the system and refresh this page.
