Hello Bryanna
Thanks God after 10 years and 5th Attempt i got approvel today .
Phew!! Super super fantastic. Happy that your persistence and a more solid application worked for you this time :)

Do try to visit for the same duration and purpose stated in your application. It could help for any future visa applications

BTW what's the validity of your TRV?

Please help .....

My sister got denied visa from US embassy in 2001 , 18 years ago.....now I want to invite her for visit to Canada, I miss her deeply, even though i go back every 2 years to see my sister and her children, does she have to declare YES to the question denied US visa, even though it was 18 years ago, she was very young, does the US and Canadian embassy has the record for each other 18 years ago ? The weird feeling that she might get rejected just because of that freaks me out and not wanting to day YES...but still, that is wrong too any advise would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Yes. It does not matter that she was refused 18 years ago.

Failure to declare this previous US visa refusal could be viewed as misrepresentation. It might result in a 5 years' ban from entering Canada

True, we would have too. Do you think it
Would effect her application ?
She is married, works for the government, owns a house, has money, our parents live there too.
She is a grown woman now and she take good care of her family and our parents. She has never been to canada and see where and how her sister live, how is Canada.
I'm hoping she would have the opportunity to come and spent sime time with me for 3 weeks.
Thanks for your reply
