Applied in Oct 2017 - Why so slow

Hey all:

I applied in October. Still waiting on my test date.

I got a letter to do finger prints in January. Did that, called and they received it. Haven't heard anything since Then. Just wondering is anyone is still waiting for Test date for so long. This is so annoying. People applying in December and January already almost done.
 
Let me guess, Mississauga? I'm also October and no test invite. It's so frustrating checking the eclient everyday to see no update.
 
yeah I think its Mississauga cause I live in Brampton. Why are they so slow OMG. My friend applied in December, family of 5 and did test 2 weeks ago. She lives in Hamilton. So frustrating.
 
Mississauga used to be one of the fastest offices back in the day when I applied. I became a citizen there. I wonder what happened. My wife's application is likely there now...
 
If you look at the tracker you can see Mississauga October applicants receiving test invites. All we can do at this point is only vent frustration.

Citizenship
  1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on October 12, 2017.
  2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on November 17, 2017.
  3. We started processing your application on December 4, 2017.
