Guys,
I applied in January 2013 for Manitoba PNP. But haven't received any acknowledgement or file no. Could there be anything wrong?

This is such a long wait dear.. ???
You should have done it before, But its never too late to inquire..
Well, email to cic and let them know about your application. Also attach the receipt from the post department as a proof.
 
Since it has been more than enough time, it is better to inquire if they have received your application or not
 
I agree with dreamhigh.

If you check the timesheet of the Jan applicants, most received acknowledge from CIC in less than 2 months. So it is not normal to take so long.

I sent in my application on Jan 8th, and got confirmation from them on Feb 25th.

How did you apply for MPNP online or by mail?

Under what stream?
 
I applied under general stream and mailed the application to manitoba.
Any idea of the email ID where I should mail my query?

You should contact CIC. CIC also recommend to do that if someone haven't received anything for 120 days.
You've waited long enough.
It doesn't delay your application or anything.
 
Guys, he/she applied in MPNP and not CIC. Send email inquiry to:

mpnpsupporter@gov.mb.ca

FYI, there are several GS applicants in 2012 who are up to now did not receive AOR yet. Your's is not an isolated case.

General Stream application may take quite awhile compared to Family Stream in addition to that you applied by mail.

In my opinion, you are still within the processing time based from other applicant's timelines so better not to follow up yet with MPNP.

Is there any idea as to how much time it usually takes to get LOA for general stream cases?

Thanks ad,
I have some doubts.
1. last year no. of support letters required were 2. From Dec 2012 its 1. So no. of applications must have increased many folds.
2. I didn't pay any fee. What fee are these people referring under MPNP GS
3. There is no one from India. Still waiting Indian applicants timeline.
