Hello all,

I applied last year in September when I was in India, but I am now in the US on a student visa, and will be here for the foreseeable future. I just received my application approval - what do I do? The instructions say to send the passport to the country I applied from. Can I send the passport to the Los Angeles VAC to stamp, or do I have to mail it all the way back to India?

Thank you!

There will not be any issues if you have already updated address after you moved to the USA (before the approval). Not sure how they react if you didn't update. Either way you can send it to VAC in USA. Send an explanation letter too.

I didn't get a chance to update it yet - honestly didn't even know I had to. Thanks for your advice!
