Applied for TR to PR, Visa expiring.

Hey, I applied under the Tr to Pr pathway back in may and am yet to receive an AOR. My work permit/IEC visa is set to expire mid December. From my understanding I have to stay in the country to be eligible for PR. How can I stay in the country? Isit possbile to work?

They have opened the option for an open work permit for anyone who applied for TR to PR streams, here is the link:

I applied on July 26th and received my new work permit this week that is valid until Dec 31st 2022.
