Hi Everyone,
I applied for my inlaw's super visa in June 2021 as my wife was pregnant at that time and we needed help. Their Biometric was completed on 3rd Aug 2021. I received no response after submitting multiple web forms. so we reapplied on 29th Jan 2022 for a Visitor visa just for my mother inlaw but we did not withdraw old super visa application. Yesterday I got confirmation of biometric validity and 8th Feb and on 9th Feb 2022 we got rejection stating the following:
"I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as a temporary resident, as stipulated in paragraph 179(b) of the IRPR, based on the purpose of your visit.
I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as a temporary resident, as stipulated in paragraph 179(b) of the IRPR, based on your personal assets and financial status."
I have not withdrawn my mother inlaw's super visa application yet. and I got a medical request on my old application on 8th Feb 2022 just a day before I got a rejection on the new Visitor visa application. My question is has anyone come across a similar situation?
Can we still proceed with the old Super visa application and submit medical or do we need to submit anything that appeals the rejection of Visitor visa refusal?
I really appreciate any information you can provide on this.
Thanks
