Applied for study permit extension, 3 months passed, no single reply

Hi

I applied my study permit extension in Canada online on April 1st, 2019. It is Jun 23rd, 2019 right now, still no single reply. I've send the web form twice, they replied said they have forwarded it to the responsible office. But then one month passed ,still no single update.

My current study permit will expire on July 30th, 2019. I don't know what to do. I already lost the chance to ho back home for the summer vacation. Anyone have the same situation? Or is there anything I can do?

You are on implied status so study permit expiring does not matter.

You should call them since you are in Canada, call early until you get someone

Or you're in the same program and just taking more time to finish it off ?

No I didn't change my program, I took one more year to finish but why I extend my study permit is because my passport is expired so they just give me up to my passport expiration date. I have two more years to go.

Thank you for your reply, but even though I am implied status, if I leave Canada, I can't come back. I called them but they just told me to wait wait wait. Looks like I am stuck in Canada now.

Was your extension applied with Family ( Spouse or Kids ) or without Family? My friend received her extension yesterday. She applied on 15th May
