I have sent my Post Nomination Paper based Application packet to CIC Sydney NS and it has delivered there yesterday. I knew this through DHL courier tracking system. How can I know about my application proper receiving? When will I get the received confirmation about my application from CIC?

Hi Ashuindian,

You would receive an email acknowledging receipt of your application (AOR) in a couple of weeks! All the best!

Hi everyone,

I have received AINP and I am waiting for my FBI report. Would you advice I wait for the FBI report or I apply for PR without it and submit it later when requested by CIC? I expect my FBI report to come at the end of July. My AINP is valid until November.

Thanks.

But the problem is I did't get any proof of delivery (signed and stamped by CIC official). DHL courier only provided me the Electronic proof of Delivery, because they delivered in Canada through collaborate courier instead of themselves. So, this is the main tension.

They don't ask for missing paper. They will return the whole file with note that after completing send again. In general, PCC is the must. So don't take risk.

The IMM5690E www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5690E.pdf (Document checklist. Permanent Residence for Provincial Nominee Class applicants) item 15 on page 3 states that you can submit application while waiting for PCC and submit when requested by officer.

Hi, you can send your application now! read Checklist IMM5690E about police check (15) they said:"You must get a police certificate from each country or territory where you have lived for six or more months in a row since the age of 18. You are strongly encouraged to submit your police certificates with your application to the CIO. If you are unable to obtain all the necessary police certificates, you may still send your application to the CIO without them. However, we strongly recommend that you take steps to obtain your police certificates now to avoid future delays. You must be ready to submit them when requested by an officer."

Hi everyone. I have another question. Would you recommend upfront medical exam? Thanks.

Hi Scarlet,

This is something I'm pondering as well with interest, but can't find a definitive answer to it.

1. Does upfront medical saves time : So far not find a single post supporting this.
2. Visa office: As the validity of medical is 1 year and it has to be valid on the day you land. It put question mark how quick a visa office is, e.g Delhi took more than a year to process so no point in upfront. While other (e.g. Manilla) are quicker and process in about 6 months then it may be beneficial.
3. Cost ($CDN) of medical: it varies hugely (e.g. in Delhi it is $80 CDN, Singapore $120CDN and UK $585CDN) so it depends on an individual's financial circumstances to spare this amount.
4. Is it going to be linked to your file: I've found it depends on doctor and may require doctor to upload it again (which all doctors are not ready to without substantial fee).

Will appreciate your findings / opinion on this.

Thanks

no need to worry, next time, you supose to give them your email, they will register it and you will be checking the movement of the application, u supose to be tracking it by email, they will be updating every country it gets too via your emails, but no need to panic, they will surelly deliver it to CIC, i trust DHL when it comes to that, u relax, now keep on checking your mails within 2 months, u will get your AOR sharp sharp

POLICE REPORT

just an advice, now you can send your police report with your application, and u may not send it, if you send it or not, they will sent u your AOR, so if u didnt send it with the application at first, they will request for it during medicals, well the best thing to do is to send it with the application, it makes the whole process fast, CIC processing is generally slow dis days, due to bulky and too much applications, so u sending it at first, they will have clear the security sector of your application, well most people send police report with there application

Hello All,
I would like to start this new topic to inform and get update on current PR application after being nominated by province. Here are some of my details:

Applied for PNP : 9/06/2014
Category: AINP- International Student
Nominated : 13/04/2016
File Received at IRCC on 18/05/2016.

I have paid 550 each for me and my spouse as a processing fee and 490 each as a landing fee.

Hi Mehul, after you received your Nomination, after how much time were you able to complete the documentation and send it to IRCC? What I mean to ask is, after how much time after applying did you receive the AOR?

Actually I would have to apply for a Bridging Open Work Permit and would like to plan ahead. Did you apply for a BOWP?

An answer would be appreciated. Thanks.
