I received my visa 2 days ago and yep! I'm planning to settle in Halifax Nova Scotia. I'll give you an update once I get there hopefully in August this year. In gratitude to all the seniors in this forum I have been a silent reader of all the posts and it helped me a lot in processing my application.

No one know whats going to happen... Its too early to predict anything at this Point... The best i can suggest that just wait for some time and in a month or so things will be much more clear... Patience is the Key and need of the hour...

Hi Buddy,

I applied under catagory of NOC 1111 and my app rchd NS on 10th June. I am really worried bcoz as per the new rule, they have deleted finance catagory completely. As i am not a CA, i don'e want my case to be rejected on this ground. Just wanted to ask, as per your exp., is it a necessary condition to be a CA?

I want to apply for Federal Skill migration. I am aware that i have to send application forms and other supporting documents to CIO,Sydney,Canda.I got the document checklist. On the checklist i found that i have to include visa office specific documents. Now, my visa office document checklist shows that i have to submit all application forms and other documents. Does it mean i have to send 2 copies of application forms,2 copies of original IELTS results since CIO document checklist also requires Application forms & IELTS result?

Hi guys,
I have no updates for myself but I hared about some one who is an international student here in Halifax. He was asked late June to send his medicals after 6 months waiting for Buffalo office.
Hopefully that give you a prediction time line.
