Applied for Indian Passport renewal 21st October 2016. Received ITA on 2-Nov-16

Hi ,

I have received ITA on 2nd Nov-16 but previous to that I have applied for Passport renewal on 21st Oct 2016 and I am currently waiting for new passport.

Now the issue here is I need to apply for PCC and for that I need a passport. Can someone suggest whether I can go ahead and submit my application once I receive new passport and apply PCC with 45days. As you all know time to submit the application is within 60 days.

PCC will not take more than 20 days according to my exp. If you have renewed passport, do it quickly, I think you will be able to get the documents in 60 days.

If the police verification is done on your passport, You will get PCC on the same day. Shouldn't be issue. If police verification not done on your passport, You will receive passport within week, then another 10-15 days to get PCC.

Hi,

I got PCC in 30 mins today from Bangalore PSK, if you have passport which shows your current address or adhaar card that shows your current address, they will just issue the PCC on the same day and stamp your passport as well with PCC details.

Wait for the passport and then take online appointment for PCC.

You should submit request to Passport office to speed up your process giving them reason of your ita and timeline. You can also request to Canada immigration regarding more time by providing them receipt of Passport application. They will increase your time for sure it is not a big issue you have valid reason to request Canadian immigration as well.
