The information you provided is too shallow and people can't get to easily help or know how to contribute, you need to be open on this forum.. everyone are here for questions and answers

you have to give your full academic and other valuable profiles (like the documents you submitted, if possible how/what did you write in you study plan, work/study gap, what have you been doing etc)
The documents I submitted were:-
-Application form IMM1294
-Family Information IMM5707
-Fee payment of VAC (the vfs did it)
-Photocopy of passport
-Two photos
-Letter of acceptance
-Proof of financial support
- My grandfather was my sponsor so I submitted his sponsor letter, Bank statement, salary certificate and employment contract.
- My uncle lives in Canada near my college with a Canadian PR, so he sent me a co-sponsor letter indicating that he'll provide me with accommodation. He also sent me the scan of his PR card.
-Birth certificate
-Previous study transcript
-Study plan (this was a problem)
-My IELTS result with an overall band of 7.5

These are all the documents I submitted.

your documents are appropriately arranged, try to order your gcms notes. I think actually it was in your SOP given that you haven't work and a recent graduate without any work experience, there was suppose to be writiten justification of this been a dependent to your sponsor showing proper evidence which better links his submitted financial statements and properties covering that aspect of you under it

Your purpose of visit could relates to weak sop, future plans, course mismatch or irrelevancy etc

given the lack of employment prospect in your home country, the VO wasn't convince that you may return or with your intended course find a job after spending huge amount studying in Canada which means you might not return. You should have show more evidence of economic tie of you to your home country and clearly stating it in your SOP

The length of your proposed study might be that why is he going for such a length of short or long studies as it may be reflected in your written SOP, maybe you aid something that contradict this view of maybe returning or your future plans didn't go down well with it

FYI: all this analyzing is based on my own opinion and might not accurately be in the view of the VO but you can take something home from it. REQUEST FOR YOUR GCMS NOTES FOR MORE ENHANCED DETAILS

send your SOP to johnpfyfasnow@gmail.com let me take a look

Hello,
I am going to apply soon from Dubai.
Did they require "Letter of Explanation" for the application?
Thank you.

It's always good to write a SOP , to better your chances of approval .
Let the Visa Officer know your intentions .
