Can you call IRCC to get a temporary AOR after the application is submitted? I need to apply for a bridging work permit as my wife's status is expiring soon (End of this month). Any suggestions regarding this matter will be helpful. Thank you all.

Hello, Could you please share what did you do and what updates you got so far? I am also looking for an advise so

I just applied my wife's BOWP with the submission email received from IRCC; it was valid (that is what I think) since she only had a few weeks left in her permit. Later on, when I got the AOR I submitted it through webform. She received her BOWP within seven weeks.

Submission email mean the email which you received the day when you apply for PR application?

Yes that is correct, just save that email as PDF and attach in your application.
